The Princess Bride was made in 1987 based on a novel. 

It started off with the title of the movie in a fancy font, expecting the beginning to be the location of a castle, as the title font and the title itself made it seem what the movie was going to be about. But it started with a tv which automatically means its set in the present time (present bein the late 80's)

It starts off with a little boy in his room, and his granpa comes in and reads him a book. The book is essentially the story that is going to be the whole movie.
